Quantitative PortaCount Fit Test appointments available
If you or your staff need to wear a Respirator, it must be able to provide adequate protection. Respirators need to seal to the wearers face effectively, and respirator fit testing ensures that the equipment is suitable to the wearer.
Resile uses the PortaCount Fit Tester, which is a leading quantitative fit testing system.
Rather than a pass/fail system – like the scent-based qualitative methods of testing – PortaCount measures the adequacy of a respirator’s fit by numerically measuring the amount of leakage into the respirator. The machine then compares the numbers of particles inside the respirator vs the particles outside the respirator. The ratio of the two measurements is the fit factor.
