Does your organisation send employees to work at high altitude?
Human bodies work best at sea level. At high altitude our physiology undergoes a number of changes and for some people, disorders associated with high altitude can be life threatening.
Acute altitude illness can occur when people are at or above 2000 metres above sea level. In some cases it can occur at an intermediate altitude (1500 – 2000 metres above sea level).
Severe cases involve fluid build-up in the lungs, brain or both which can be fatal.
We provide Altitude Assessments for organisations who have operations in high altitude regions.
Contact us about arranging an appropriate assessment for your needs.
