Complex Case Management

A serious problem at the interface of health and work that may have long term consequences for the client and/or their employee(s).

It involves multiple contacts (such as with the client, employee, treating doctors and others).

It is likely the problem will persist beyond a few days and multiple reports may be required.

Examples of complex cases include:

SASH
Psychological issues
Serious injuries (eg. surgery or hospitalisation required)
