Our approach

Occupational Hygienists use a scientific approach to measure the extent workers are exposed to hazards. This follows a process of:

1. Baseline Qualitative Health Risk Assessment – an initial site visit and hazard characterisation – This a “walk-through” survey which enables us to identify the range of hazards present.
2. Occupational Exposure Monitoring program design – development of sampling strategy and exposure profiling (SEG’s) – Monitoring must be carefully designed to ensure statistically significant outcomes.
3. Occupational Exposure Assessment – Monitoring – Monitoring enables us to determine exposure risks and inform risk control programs.
